ah, one of my favorites. such a heartwarming and yet bittersweet story. i'm glad the Edub quite obviously mentions more than once that the little fox was a boy. there was such a long-standing debate over that back when this episode first showed up with subs.

Loved this episode. I'm not very emotional but this made me year up. It was the best of both worlds: happy and sad. Bittersweet. Loved the little boy and was happy he saw Natsume for who he is. Beautiful episode.

Ever liked someone just because they're them? That's the image the fox child is giving me for Natsume in this episode. It's very sweet. The English dub does justice to the original in my opinion.
